Dated approximately 1800-2011 with the bulk of the materials being from 1956-2011.

Included in his personal papers are letters, military papers, ads, journals, missionary papers, lectures, and ephemera that document correspondence with friends and family, and stages of and events throughout his life. Also included are papers written by and about members of his family documenting their history and areas of study. Materials date from 1920 to 2006.

Contains letters written to and from Hugh Nibley concerning his books, lectures and visits, and areas of his religious and language studies. Incoming letters also concern thanking him or inviting him to write an article or give a talk. Materials date from 1936 to 2000.
